this stone has become indispensable. pizza comes out crisp & perfect. clean up is a breeze. functionally it is super easy (with no possible messes) as of the handles to place a pizza into the oven – i always struggled placing it directly onto the rack.
multiple uses – i have found it can be a hot plate (those are boiling working glasses of pickled ginger and in that picture i had cooked 3 pizzas already so one can see it cleans up like new).
Read.- is beautiful- easy to clean- take the sticker before you put it in the oven, use a new sponge to get rid of the sticker glue, add plenty of water and dry it .- when you use it for the first time make sure to put it in the oven at 500 to 550 degrees for at least 15 minutes before you put anything on it.
This allows the stone to have the natural color and kill any odors or unpleasant smells.- do not clean when the stone is hot, wait till the nest day.-if you are clean it , put the stone in a flat surface and clean.-avoid using metal spatulas- cook, love it.
This is a beautiful pizza stone that is great quality, my only issue is after 1 use, I’m not able to get rid of these stains. They have become imbedded into the stone.
Still functional, just not as pretty. If anyone knows any way to remove this I’m open to ideas.
