Police have used teargas and live bullets to disperse the supporters of Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi stopping them from accessing high court in Mbale.
Kyagulanyi was appearing in Court for the hearing of a case filed against the Attorney General, the Inspector General of Police and 4 other security officers in the Elgon region for preventing him from accessing a radio station in Mbale though he had paid for airtime.
However, Grade One Magistrate Andrew Katurubuki adjourned the case indefinitely without giving the date for the next hearing arguing that COVID-19 Prevention measures were not being respected.
