Joseph Bologne Chevalier de Saint-Georges is a name few people know.
Son of a slave and a plantation owner, this 18th century French virtuoso violinist, conductor and composer is mostly known as ‘the Black Mozart’.
And while Mozart had endless fame, many of Bologne’s works went unpublished. Like this Harpsichord Quartet in G minor. So, we want to get his name and music known. And we’ve paired this work with a wine also deserving of fame: La Fête du Rosé.

Committed to supporting the under-represented, this French-style rose is entirely black-owned. Both are refreshing to the senses, yet distinctively complex. And together, they’re unforgettable. (Santé!)

Through August 2020, La Fête will be donating $2 from every bottle sold via their website to organizations support underrepresented youth. And they’ll continue to find ways to be a voice of change in the future.
