Toriibria is sitting at 450m altitude, the location of this vineyard gives very generous fruit that gives a richer flavour. The winemaking is slightly different in which a small percentage of wine goes into French oak during fermentation. This is one Koshu that can handle cellaring.

Grace Wine started in 1923, when first generation Chotaro Misawa came to Katsunuma Village in Yamanashi Prefecture and launched his “Chotaro” label wine.

Ayana is 5th generation in the Misawa family & returned in 2007 after finishing her studies in France & South Africa. On her return, she has been pushing Grace Wine beyond the “Japanese wine” framework, into the unique flavour realm of its own.
