My road trip through the French wine country in 3 minutes! Such a special trip for me because I travelled with my boyfriend and his friends and family, so it was a truly authentic French experience!
WHERE WERE GOING:
– Loire Valley
– Saumur
– Montreuil-Bellay
– Le Prieuré d’Aunis vineyard / winery domaine
THE TRULY AUTHENTIC FRENCH MOMENTS:
– 0:37 wine tasting in the underground cellars of the Le Prieuré d’Aunis
– 1:06 making fouées, a traditional regional specialty! A fouée is a round, airy bread, similar to pita. It is served with pork rillettes, salted butter and white beans (“mogettes”).
– 1:53 a boat cruise along the Loire on a traditional replica of an 18th century Loire barge
– 2:25 playing “boule de fort”, a traditional ball game to the region
