An easy recipe of the French dish “Coq au Vin”, made with chicken and an intense sauce! We cook it all in the same pan and serve with delicious al denté pasta!

Ingredients for 4 persons:
1,600 gr / 3.5 lb of chicken thighs (upper and lower)
50 cl red wine
4 onions
3 branches of celery
3 carrots
60 cl / 20 fl.oz vegetable stock / broth
350 gr / 0.8 lb white mushrooms
100 gr / 3.5 oz salty & smoked bacon in cubes
4 tbsp of flour + another 2 tbsp for the thickening the sauce

Pasta “pennes” & parsley for serving
