Weeding, watering and harvesting is the main tasks on the allotment during the Month of July. The recent vegetable to harvest being Broad Beans preceded by carrots and beetroot.
Runner Beans, Sweetcorn and French Beans competing with each other to be the next vegetable to be presented on to the dining room table but endeavouring to hold them back in the competition for food and water are those bad guys of the plot Weeds.
Its a steady constant task in their removal but essential for success in the growing stakes
