Gewürztraminer, St Francis, Sonoma Valley 2013

This pink grape is originally from Alsace France. It has adapted perfectly to Italy, Spain, South Africa, California and other places around the world.
In this case we will try the one from Sonoma Valley, California from St Francis Winery 2013.

Aromas: Honeysuckle vanilla, rose petals and tropical fruit.
Taste: Strong vanilla flavors, and tropical notes, I can say Lychee and a touch of gingerbread cookie.

Delicious to enjoy very cold.

Pairing recommendations: Strong flavor cheeses, seafood, asian food, spicy food, pork saussages and oily or creamy vegetables.

And as I always say: “What grows together, goes together” – How do you like to drink your Gewürztraminer?

*** Also, I will show you in this video how to use your COravin system. So, you don’t have to open your favorite bottle of wine to enjoy a glass.
