A look at the beautiful Alsace town of Molsheim. A great stopover on the Alsatian Wine Route, and as a base to explore the region. We’re only here for the night as we head off on our Lakes & Lederhosen tour, but what can we discover in a few hours.
We know it’s where Ettore Bugatti set up his car works in 1909, when the region was part of Germany. So when we find a museum to the man and his machines – well, you have to. We also get to explore the La Chartreuse, or Charterhouse, before retiring back at the old town centre and the 16th century La Metzig.
