KFC Style Chicken Zinger Burger Recipe:
Ingredients:
Low fat milk ½ cup
Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
Thick yogurt 2 tsp
Black Pepper 1 tsp
Smoked Paprika 1 tsp
Onion Powder 1 tsp
Garlic Powder 1 tsp
Mixed Herbs ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Tomato ketchup
Hot Sauce 1 tsp
Mustard
Yogurt
Cheese slices
Lettuce
Plain flour 1-2 cups
Method:
• In a large mixing bowl combine the milk, 2tsp yogurt and whisk to prepare the buttermilk
• Next add black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, mixed herbs, hot sauce, salt and mustard and combine together
• Now add the chicken fillets to marinate overnight or at least 2/ 3 hours
• While the chicken is marinating let’s prepare the garlic sauce
• Mix together mayonnaise and thick yogurt and add ¼ tsp garlic powder, ¼ tsp salt and ¼ black pepper
• Now prepare the coating by combining plain flour, garlic powder, salt, onion powder and black pepper as well as some smoked paprika and mixed herbs
• Coat the marinated chicken with the flour then dip it in cold water as shown in the video and coat it again in the flour mixture.
• Do the same with the remaining chicken and fry in either regular pan or air fryer
• Assemble the burgers with ketchup cheese lettuce and the chicken as shown in the video and enjoy!
