This real log cabin has a master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath. The second-floor bedroom has a queen bed and a full-sized futon. The bathroom upstairs splits the bedroom and the loft overlooking the living room. The living area is built on an open-space design where you and your guests can all enjoy conversation, games, and dining. The comfortable furniture invites you to “take a load off” while enjoying entertainment from the large flat-screen TV with cable and a blue ray Dvd player. The living room is accented with a gas log fireplace and is open to the full-service kitchen. The dining table is large and separates the kitchen and the dining room.
There is also a gas grill out on the back deck where you can grill up some hamburgers, steaks, or whatever your group is craving. Out in the backyard, you’ll find a fire pit that’s perfect for roasting hot dogs or making s’ mores for an after-dinner snack.
The Cabin is just below the Foothills Parkway which takes you above the treetops and foothills from the valley below, offering incredible mountain vistas across the entire face of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Any time of year is a great time to visit the Smokys. The Smokys are a premier wildlife viewing area and early in the morning and late in the evening make are great times to see wildlife. In the summer you can go hiking, white river rafting, horseback riding, and zip-lining all within just 15 minutes from Southern Comfort. In the Fall the leaves color the mountains with vibrant spectacular hues. The Spring allows you to see the splendor of the most bio-diverse park in the National Park system.
