French Toast
Ingredients:
– Bread: 8 thick slices
– Sugar: 1/2 cup
– Milk: 1 cup (250ml)
– Egg: 1 nos
– All purpose flour (maida): 1 tbsp
– Cinnamon powder: 1/2 tsp
– Vanilla essence: 1/2 tsp
– Salt: 2 pinches
– Butter
Method:
Beat the egg thoroughly, then add the flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon powder. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved fully. Add the vanilla essence and give it a good stir.
Butter the pan once the pan is mildly hot. While the butter is melting, soak a slice of bread in the batter, then place on the pan. Cover and cook on both sides for 3 minutes on a medium flame.
Repeat for the rest of the bread slices.
AND THE FRENCH TOAST IS READY!!! Enjoy with any fruits or berries of your choice.
