Hi Guys, today I am sharing Father’s Day breakfast recipe , which is old fashioned French Toast.. Make your Dad happy by making these super easy breakfast on Father’s Day. FULL RECIPE:
Ingredients
White bread- 2 slices
Eggs- 2
Whole milk- 2 tbsp
Sugar- 1 tbsp
Cinnamon powder- 1/4 tsp
Salt- a pinch
Vanilla bean powder- 1/4 tsp (or vanilla essence 1/2 tsp)
Maple syrup- to put on top
Butter- to fry and to put on top
Cooking oil- to fry
In a mixing bowl crack eggs. Whisk them. Add milk, sugar, salt, ground cinnamon, vanilla bean/essence and whisk again. Heat a pan and grease it with little bit of oil and butter (mixing butter with oil raises the smoke point of butter thus preventing it from burning while you fry the French toast in it)! Dip a thick slice of white bread in the egg batter and put it in the pan to shallow fry. Fry the toast from both sides until golden brown. Serve them hot with a dollop of butter and warm maple syrup on top. Enjoy!!
