Poire Belle Hélène is a dessert made from pears poached in sugar syrup and served with vanilla ice cream. There is no doubt, the ease of preparation and beautiful presentation make this dish a stunning dessert for a dinner party, trust me this is going to be an impressive dessert for the guest . INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ cups water
1 tspn lemon zested
½ lemon juice
1 Bosc pear (cored, peeled, stems left on)
1 tblspn vanilla essence
½ cup sugar
1 cup chocolate sauce for topping, or as needed
1 scoop vanilla ice cream, or as needed
Mint leaf to decorate.

Note:-
** Choose firm but not overripe, unblemished pears making sure the stem is still intact.
** I have use Bosc pear, which has smooth, even skin and shape, making it easier to peel.
** Use brown sugar if you like.
** Cover pear with enough water to poach.
** Use crumbed cjocolate cake as soil.
