Johnny Liu, an independent Winemaker from the Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain, China, once studied under the French Winemaker Thierry Marcel.
The Eastern foot of Helan Mountain is one of the most important wine regions in China, which located in Northwest, China. Since 2012, Johnny Liu has studied and worked there. He said： “The Wine has its own language, what it expresses is like a dialect. What I want to do now is to look for the dialect of Ningxia Wine.”
Johnny Liu likes literature and film, some people called him “A artistic Winemaker”. He loves Mu Xin’s books, a famous Chinese writer. In order to express his feelings about Mu Xin, he made his own Wine named “The Lingering Clouds“.
