To support Indiana’s farm winery families when they need it most, to pass time safely but in style while expanding your knowledge about potent potables, join Purdue’s wine professor for “Wine Wednesdays” during May, June, and July: A quick, guided online tasting of an exciting local wine style that will increase your appreciation for artisan wines, and even provide an opportunity for you to post your own cool wine evaluations and recommendations for other wine lovers, and be social and kind – even at a distance.
Purdue alums and friends, – wherever you are – go drive by your local wineries, and pick up a bottle or – better – a case of wine! Most Indiana wineries are open for business, but watch the news, comply with all local and state ordinances, and call ahead to arrange for curbside pick-up.
Visit www.indianawines.org for contact information. And please check the wineries’ social media pages for the latest information on online or safe curbside purchases, and visits.
This course is intended for those of legal drinking age. Please taste responsibly, and keep your family safe, especially at times of COVID-19 lockdown.
With more than 1,000 different delicious Indiana wines to choose from, there’s got to be something for everyone. Wines made by your neighbors. It doesn’t get more authentic than that.
