The Pour Nomads talk about how the world of wine can be confusing.

Do you like wine, buy wine and wonder sometimes what is in a bottle of wine that says Gruner or Bordeaux or Rhone. How can I tell what this bottle will taste like and if I will like it before even buying it. Why waste money on something you won’t like.

The pour nomads traveled the country full time in a motorhome, met winemakers and the oldest wine maker in Napa, Mike Grgrich who won the 1976 judgement of paris tasting in france with his 1973 Chardonnay. We picked grapes in Iowa, visited historic vineyards and wineries in Missouri, Thomas Jeffersons winery and tasted at over 400 wineries.

We want to teach about varietals and tasting profiles, regions, labeling and food pairing. We are working towards our Sommelier level 1 and 2 Certifications and want to share this journey with you. We are also members of the American Wine Society in the Lehigh Valley area.
We have developed a tool that will help anyone navigate the world of wine and understand ahead of time what they are buying and how they can impress their friends with their knowledge.
