Ingredients:

5-7 Russet Potatoes
Large Bowl of Cold Water
1 1/2 Cup Peanut Oil
3 Pinches Seasoned Salt

Directions:

Step 1 – Scrub, rinse, and peel russet potatoes. Place directly in a bowl of cold water.

Step 2 – Chop russet potatoes into 1 by 2 and 1/2 or 3 inch chunks. Place in a bowl of cold water.

Step 3 – Pour 1 cup of peanut oil into a frying pan or iron skillet, and place it on the stove on medium-high. Dry the potatoes in a separate bowl using paper towels, and then place a single layer of them in the frying pan.

Step 4 – Fry for 4-6 minutes or until light brown. Then, remove and let sit for as long as you would like.

Step 5 – Refry them until golden brown, and add salt to taste.
