You may know Versailles near Paris or The Mont Saint Michel but have you ever been to the Loire Valley which was the region for french Kings in which they built prestigious Chateaux and Castles from the Middle ages to the Renaissance and later on.
Here we come in Chinon which has Hosted Joan of Arc, a beautiful preserved city with old houses, and amazing wine and cheeses productions.You can also go to Vouvray for its Sparkling wine close to the town of Tours.
Tormis Band gives you an insight of Traditional music in the court of an Old Town House in the streets of Chinon near the cellars.

If You come to this unique area don’t forget to Visit Amboise which has hosted Leonardo da Vinci until his death.No one knows for sure but he is supposed to have drawn the blue prints of the Royal Chambord Magnificent Chateau with its Masterpiece Double Stairs.
Loches is another town in the region which has preserved authentic castles too…and bear in mind Azay-le-rideau,Ussé with the sleeping beauty castle or even Langeais bordering the Loire River.If you want to finish your tour with a walk,visit the amazing Gardens of Villandry.
