In this video I refinish the top of a mid century modern dining table.
The basic steps are:
1. Strip the old finish
2. Scrub off stripper residue with mineral spirits and #0000 steel wool.
3. Steam out dents in the wood
4. Sand the surface
5. Apply pre stain conditioner
6. Apply Varathane American Walnut stain
7. Apply lacquer topcoat
