Bonjour Bordeaux!
Its not as grand as Paris but my goodness, its a fun place. Amazing wine, great food, kind people and home of the Canelé, a crispy but soft bordelaise rum pastry that has recently made a resurgence 🙂
A pretty rainy weekend to travel around in but no time was wasted, celebrating Nessy’s birthday that weekend. Le Cité du Vin was the main attraction for the weekend and if you’re ever there, try the nearby food market for some tasty Pintxos, foie gras and tapas.
