French Provincial recipe for lyonnaise potatoes.
Recipe
Step 1 mix together:
2 cubes of butter
1/2 cup of parsley
4 cloves of fresh garlic
Step 2
Pre slice 1 bag of large potatoes into slices
Step 3
Butter large glass pan with butter mix covering all pan
layer slices while adding dollops of the butter and salting and peppering each layer to the top.
Step 4
Add 1 pint of heavy whipping creme over potatoes till creme is halfway up the pan (more if you like to work out.)
layer top with Swiss cheese
Last
Bake at 425 for 1 hour.
