A side by side comparison of two very drinkable but very different 2019 French Roses. The bone dry Les Violettes Rose´ from the Southern Rhone and the ever so slightly sweet Rose d’Anjou from Chateau du Montgueret in the Loire Valley.
One note! I misspoke on the cepages for the Les Violettes, there’s no Mouvedre in this vintage but there is a but of Carignan.
