Winos announces a live Pandemic Pouring with virtual wine tastings and reviews from two BC Wineries, both based in Summerland in the beautiful Okanagan.
The Winos in Slippers (that’s all you get to see), Original Sip, Sneaky Sip (now drinking as Snooty Sip), Gewürztraminer the Wiener Dog and special guest Simple Sip will give you their tasting notes on these wines and hopefully be joined virtually by a few other wine fans as the night goes on. So, get your slippers on and break open a bottle of wine and join them!
The Winos rate the wines based on “Slippers Up,” so a great wine gets 2 Slippers Up from each Wino and sometimes a “Slipper Toss” if it’s really great!
First the Slippers Winos will be tasting the 2019 White Pinot and the 2019 Saignée (method Rosé wine) from Silk Scarf Winery.
Up next on the live show will be two wines from Thornhaven Estates Winery-first the 2018 BROOKLYN’S BLEND, a Sauvignon Blanc/Chardonnay blend followed by a 2018 PINOT NOIR, a traditional-style Pinot Noir aged in French Oak.
