It takes a bit of time but the result is a beautiful silky taste, with a slight sweetness from the onions.
Its made better with a homemade beef stock. but you can use any stock you want.

But that feeling you get when you put time and effort into a comfort dish that tastes this amazing make you feel even more warmer inside.

It could be made better if you ladle into an oven proof bowl and cover with cheese and put it in the over for 10 mins.

Recipe;

2 large onions
1 tbl spoon olive oil
250ml red wine
pinch of salt
1 litre of beef stock
1 tbl spoon of time
ground black pepper

1/2 French baguette
your choice of cheese, I used gouda and brie.
