We are looking at how to pronounce the name of famous Swedish YouTuber, comedian, philanthropist know as PewDiePie. We are looking at how to pronounce his real full family name, which is of course from Sweden in Northern Europe, and spelled K j e double L b e r g. So how would you go about pronouncing this name? Of course PewDiePie’s first name is Felix, but how do you say his last name? It’s not KellBreg as many too often say but rather CHELL BERG. The Letters K and J together in Swedish forming the sound of SH, a little like SH. It’s a specific sound in Swedish that’s a little hard to perfectly reproduce for non-native Scandinavian-language speaker, but the closest you can say it in English would be Kjellberg. Kjellberg. Pretty straightforward once you know, right?
