We meet two Hurricane Katrina survivors who turned their tragedy and talent into a New Orleans hot spot in Texas. You won’t find better “Big Easy” in Marble Falls or the Hill Country than at The Real New Orleans Style Restaurant. They’re serving up all your French Quarter classics like Shrimp-and-Sausage Gumbo and crispy Catfish Po’ Boys, as well as do-not-miss twists like Crawfish Mac-and-Cheese.
Next, we travel to Baja, Mexico without leaving downtown Fredericksburg. Bejas was on a short 5-year hiatus, but now it’s back and better than ever. Locals are lining up to dig into their favorites again, like the Shrimp-and-Mango Enchiladas topped with sherry cream sauce and the Cucumber-Jalapeño Margarita made with top-shelf tequila!
Then, we’re heading to Houston for some big city flair from B.B. Lemon! From the brain of Ben Berg (of B&B Butchers, B.B. Italia and The Annie Café & Bar), he’s back at it again with another cozy, neighborhood spot. B.B. Lemon is inspired by his childhood in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. You’ll find pieces of Houston with dishes like the 100% Texas Wagyu Beef Burgers as well as nods to New York with classic cocktails like the B.B. Manhattan.
Don’t miss out on all of the action (and incredible H-E-B wines).
