How to Make Mussels in White Wine and Garlic

INGREDIENTS
1 lb, or 1 bag of mussels (black ones), you can find it in the frozen isle
1 1/2 cup of white wine, I used Pinot Grigio
5-6 tablespoon of  butter or 1 stick (lol), more or less
2 large shallots, finely chopped
5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/2 an onion
1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon of salt1 teaspoon of lemon pepper
1/2 lemon and some lemon zest
Splash of water
Parsleys or Italian Basil (optional)
Serve with toasted French Bread
Servings: 4 people

* Rinse and scrub mussels under cold water.
* Remove beards (strings that hang from the mussel shells), and discard.
* In a large stockpot set over medium heat, add butter, garlic, shallots, and onions. Cook until softens
* Add crushed red peppers, lemon pepper, garlic powder, salt, white wine and a splash of water.
* Squeeze in half a lemon and some lemon zest.
* Add mussels, cover, and increase heat to high.
* Cook until all mussels are open, about 5 minutes.
* Serve immediately. Enjoy!
