This was a fun party under Parisian rooftops!

We took a trip to southern France along a legendary French road, la Nationale 7, Charles Trénet’s music blasting on the radio.

We practiced pronouncing a few challenging French city names and Parisian landmarks.

Of course, we discussed food and wine… as befits a French apéro.

Show notes:

🇫🇷 Intro music: “Vianney”
🇫🇷 Travel presentation: La Route Nationale 7, “la Route des Vacances,” (la Route Bleue)
🇫🇷 Charles Trénet’s song: “Route Nationale 7”
🇫🇷 Apéro menu:
Poivronnade provençale (crushed red peppers with tomato paste, olive oil, garlic, flavored with Piment d’Espelette)
Cheese: L’Angors, a chévre (goat cheese) from the Deux-Sèvres (Nouvelle Aquitaine.)
Wine: Bandol rosé, “le Galantin”, from le Var (Provence, Alpes, Côte d’Azur)
