Baguette, wonderful artisan bread that take a lot of time but when you do put the hours in it gives you so much satisfaction.
After some research I have discovered that Baguette, Ciabatta and French loaf is almost the same bread. It originated from two different countries
For instance Ciabatta originated in Italy and Baguette in France.
French loaf is a type of baguette .The recipe I’ve used in this video for the french loaf doesn’t ferment but only proofs .
It is a much dryer dough and easier to handle and form.
I tried to show you the difference and similarities of the three breads.

French loaf:
Ingredients
300 g Cake flour
190 g Water
1 tsp oil
1 tsp sugar
4 g Yeast
4 g salt

Baguette:
Ingredients
525 ml Bread Flour
375 ml Water
5 g Yeast
1 tsp salt

Ciabatta:
Ingredients
375 ml Cake flour
250 ml Water
5 ml Yeast
5 ml Salt
