FRANCE- MY MOST FAVOURITE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD
When I think about France, the beautiful queen comes to my mind and that is Paris. The city of philosophy, art, literature, science, math, love, sex, revolution, food, and all and all. It’s the paradise on the earth not only that when people asked me in my world tour what was my most favourite country in the world, without hesitation for micro seconds, I murmur with myself, yes it is France. France has opened the gate of my world tour and I have deep respect with this beautiful country. Now, novel corona Virus has confined me in my den and traveling all over the world, I wish I can stop it and visit France again. I could not travel without having schengen visa that is issued from French Embassy and every year I visit Paris I know not why and till now if I have visited many times any cities in the world and that is Paris. I fell in love with this beautiful country.
Angela carter said, ” Cities have sex: London is a man, Paris is a woman and New York city is well-adjusted transsexual”.
I asked my daughter, where do you want to visit and her first word was Paris then I took her to France when she was three years old.
The first city I have heard, that was Paris and when I have visited it, I was so thrilled and I fell in love with her.
Paris always makes me romantic and creative. During my WORLD TOUR, I have visited it most of the times and since then I visit it every year.
Paris- Love, art, philosophy, beauty, romance, life, music, literature, math, science, food, wine, and reason to live the fullest life.
If I choose to live between Paris, London and New York. Of course undoubtedly, it is Paris- she is a beautiful lover of my journey.
Nepal is my country but France is my dream.
Within few years, I will stop to travel but I will not stop to visit France.
Paris is for me a paradise.
For me Paris is the queen of the world.
Writers like Albert Camus (The Stranger), Jean- Paul Sartre (no exit), Marcel Proust (In Search of Lost Time), Gustave Flaubert (Madame Bovary), Voltaire (Candide- fools have a habit of believing that everything written by a famous author is admirable, for my part I read only to please myself and like only what suits my taste), Guy De Maupassant (my favourite story teller), Coletie (you will do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm), Emile Zola (If you shut up truth and bury it under the ground, it will but grow, and gather to itself such explosive power that the day it bursts through it will blow up everything in its way), Charles Baudelaire ( Les Fleurs du Mal- The Flowers of Evil), Simon de Beauvoir (The Second Sex) and one my favourite writer- MR. MAUGHAM
Philosophers like Rene Descartes is always my favourite, Jacques Derrida, Michel Foucault, Roland Barthes, Jacques Lacan, Michel de Montaisne, Jean – Jacques Rousseau, ah! Scientists like, Marie Curie, Louis Pasteur, pierre Curie, Jacques Dixmier, Emilie du Chatelet, Blaise pascal, Benoit Mandelbrot……many names are there whose contribution to the humanity is admirable, well artists like Edgar Degas (The Absinthe Drinker), Eugene Delacroix (Liberty Leading the People), Paul Gaugin (Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going? Perhaps that is why Tahiti is always my favourite to end my world tour), Marcel Duchame (Fountain), henri De Toullouse-Lautrec (Moulin Rouge), Auguste Rodin (The Thinker), Claude Monet (Water Lilies Series), Henry Matisse (Dance), Paul Cezanne (The Bathers), Pierre (Auguste Renor) and many others.
