Buenos dias. Buon Giorno! This is Julien, the guy who makes pronunciation videos here on YouTube. And we are looking at how to pronounce the name of this bull. Because yes, this was the name of a bull before it was the name of a car. As you know, every Lamborghini car is named after a famous Spanish fighting bull from the Spanish Corrida, the bull fighting tradition from Spain. So, how would you go about pronouncing the name of this car? You may actually be surprised to learn that coincidently; this is the Spanish word for Huricane. It makes sense, doesn’t it? So, in English or American as you probably know, it’s normally pronounced Huracán. Lamborghini Huracán. But because this is a Spanish word, this would normally be pronounced in Spanish, so with the genuine original pronunciation: Huracán without pronouncing the H which is silent in Spanish, and insisting on the CAN part, the last syllable because there is an accent on the A.
