Hey cruisers! It’s been a while since we’ve given you a night by night Carnival cruise food tour, so we thought we’d share all 7 of our dinners on our recent Carnival Miracle cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We have done an episode about food on Carnival cruise ships many times, but consider this the updated version – Carnival cruise food 2017. Of course we have loaded the full Carnival Miracle menus on our website. So use the link above to download our Carnival cruise menus 2017.

We spent Night 1 at Nick & Nora’s, the upcharge steakhouse, to celebrate my husbands birthday and take advantage of the free bottle of wine offered on night one in this restaurant.

First up, Mini Sliders – compliments of the chef
Starters were so tasty, and included a New England Crab Cake (On roasted pepper remoulade)
Baby Leaf Spinach and fresh mushrooms
Sliced sun-ripened beef steak tomato (with gorgonzola crumbles)
And
Lobster Bisque with vintage cognac

Nick and Norah’s offers reduced pricing for kids, and our son chose the Sliders with Fries while the grown ups enjoyed…
Broiled Filet Mignon
and
Surf & Turf- some of the best steak at sea, in our opinion.
Dessert was beautifully presented, and we chose…
Cheesecake with Hazelnut biscuit
Nutella & raspberry pizza with white chocolate & vanilla ice cream, from the childrens’s menu and…
Caramelized Washington apples

Night two in the main dining room featured the Feast menu- this was formal night on our sailing.

I started with a Pineapple martini
Then it was several starters:
Baby spinach salad
Green salad (not on menu)
Mushroom soup
My favorite entrée of the cruise was this
Striped sea bass
My husband chose the salmon Salmon
And it was Spaghetti with meatballs for our little guy
As it that wasn’t enough, we enjoyed
Creme brûlée
Warm chocolate melting cake and…
The yummy Banana split from the kids menu

Night three

Scallops
Oysters Rockefeller
Gazpacho
Greek salad and
Shrimp flatbread as our starters

Mains tonight were:
Baked ziti
Tilapia and…
Burger with fries from the kids menu
Then…
Flan
Blueberry pie
And a sugar free Coconut cake with strawberry ice cream on side

Night four brought some great variety in both appetizers and entrees. We tried:

Marinated chicken tenders and a
Tostada to start

Then, for our main dishes,
Tilapia
Chicken Milanese and…
Braised short ribs

This Buttered Popcorn pot de creme was cleverly prepared, with just the right amount of sweet and salty
We also tried the classic Cheesecake and
Rhubarb pie, but this Birthday cake was just for photos

Night five
Cannelloni
Tacos dorados
Peach soup to start.

And if that wasn’t a wild combination, our entrees were
BBQ spareribs, a salmon cake
Mac and cheese by request and
A Mahi mahi filet

And for our sticky finale,
Smores parfait
Toffee brioche
Pie ala mode and
Another birthday cake that the waiter wanted us to see

If you’ve ever wondered what room service is like on Carnival, catch our room service video. In the meantime, here are some shots of our order:
Green salad
A Rueben with coleslaw
Chicken tenders
A tuna melt with potato salad
A BLT and
An enormous serving of fries

Night six:
This Chesapeake crab cake was delicious
But I always love the Stuffed mushrooms and my nightly green salad

It was formal night again
Entrees tonight were Filet mignon and short rib
And a Fusilli with mushrooms that was better than it looks
For the grand finale, a grand marnier Soufflé
And super rich and decadent Amaretto cake

Here’s a look at the Seuss at Sea Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast
Pastries for the table
Oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar
Truffula Tree Pancakes
And Fox in Socks Steak and Eggs

Our last night onboard started with
Shrimp cocktail
Mango cream soup
For our mains:
Cornmeal crusted chicken
A Pork chop
And always available
Salmon
Then it was:
Carrot cake
Cherry pie
Banana bread pudding
