This is the first movement (of seven) of a trio (for French Horn , Trombone & Piano) I wrote for my friend the panamanian trombonist Gerardo Pinto in 2017 and some friends of his. They intended to play these pieces for a music contest in Israel but the contest was cancelled.
I am also making an adaptation of these seven movements for piano trio (violin, cello & piano). Each movement corresponds to a meter equal or similar to the movement number. For example, movement one is in one-four meter, and movement two is in two-four. The work has a neo-romantic flavor, but sometimes it has impressionist colors, and melodies that ressemble folk music from Panama, my country.
