This week we start our series of stay at home easy recipes. To start of of the series I am sharing my favorite potato recipe called in French “Pommes de terre au lard” which are simply delicious bacon and onions potatoes cooked in chicken stock. Simple pleasures fro the whole family.

INGREDIENTS:
800 grams waxy potatoes
2 tablespoons of oil
1 onion (roughly chopped)
250 grams of smoked bacon cut into lardons
1 branch of thyme
1 bay leaf

FOR THE STOCK:
2 tablespoon of oil
2 chicken wings
Half a carrot
Half an onion
1 twig of thyme
1 bay leaf
2 cups of water
half to 1 stock cube
