Ingredients

* 200 ml milk
* 4 eggs
* 100 g all-purpose flour
* 50 g sugar (or more to taste)
* 1 tsp baking powder
* 1 pinch of salt
* 1 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar)
* 300–400 g cherries or mixed berries
* 1–2 peaches, sliced (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F).
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
3. Add the flour and baking powder, then mix until smooth.
4. Gradually pour in the milk while whisking until you have a lump-free batter.
5. Arrange the berries and peach slices in a greased baking dish.
6. Pour the batter evenly over the fruit.
7. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is just set.
8. Let it cool for 10–15 minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

💡 Tip: Fresh or frozen berries both work well. If using frozen berries, don’t thaw them first to prevent excess moisture.
