    How about some paint and a duvet cover? And plants! Always plants.

    Paint, bedding with color other than white, lamps

    Paint the walls. Or just even paint the back wall where the window is with an accent color. Cute curtain instead of blinds. Maybe a round rug between the desks. Art or framed photos on the walls.

    Firstly, that cat is communing with the orb. Might want to look into that

    Secondly, I do not miss this type of living at all.

    Thirdly, I’d say a large tapestry that can be hung on the wall to add color since you can’t paint. You might be able to use command hooks depending on what the wall is made out of. I’ve suspended tapestries and flags with floss before, so I’m sure this could help some.
