Please help me finish my living room.

I have got to finish this room before Christmas. Please help.

-Current wall paint color is Revere Pewter. I can’t stand it. I think this is my biggest issue. Once this is solved, I feel like I can move forward with the rest.

-Trim is paint SW Pure White. I will not change that. I color drenched a room in our last house and it was a nightmare to repaint. 😩

-Sectional, recliner, tables, and poufs stay. Yes, there’s only one recliner. It is what it is for now.

-Fireplace surround and mantel stays.

-Area rug will stay for now and will be replaced when our elderly dog is gone. It pulls slate blue & camel colors. I’m open to ideas, but will not buy a flat, printed type of rug. I prefer a carpet type of rug or woven rug. Would prefer neutral, blue, or green.

I would like to do shelves on each side of the fireplace.

Last photo is what ChatGPT gave me. I initially thought I wanted to paint the walls white, but I’m wondering if moody would be better.
