Opening a really nice bottle with a friend later. Its one of his choosing and want to do it justice.
Plan was – pop cork, 2 hrs slow ox down in cellar, then transfer to decanter for about an hr before serving first glass. Leave in decanter through our drinking session.

that’s a killer bottle. slow ox plus decant is the right move for a young-ish to kalon cab, let it breathe and it’ll open up beautifully.
