Cleaned my place today to show it off to my parents for the first time. The goal is masculine with a hint of whimsy. I’ve worked really hard on it and can’t wait to have company over for the first time. Hopefully one day a nerdy, gamer girl 🙂

This is pretty good! Nice work, dude. If you want to slowly start upgrading it as you get older, look into real wood furniture. You can thrift it and get deals on marketplace. I don’t like matching sets of anything so I’m just doing it one piece at a time, rotating out some of my beloved IKEA pieces.
Decent minus all your wall art
If it brings you joy, that’s all that matters. If you wanted to spruce up the tapestries, look into mounting them.
