Nice pour. The color in the second shot shows that classic brick garnet rim you want from a mature Pomerol, and those thick legs suggest the wine still has plenty of concentration left. 2006 was a quietly underrated Bordeaux vintage that I think is hitting its stride right now, especially on the right bank. Certan de May has always been one of those value picks in Pomerol that punches above its price. Did you decant or just pop and pour? Curious how it opened up over the evening.
