이탈리아 코로나19 1천247명 급증 “밀라노•베네치아도 봉쇄”
The World Health Organization says the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide has surpassed 100-thousand as of Saturday.
In Europe, Italy has seen its largest daily increase so far.
Italy’s civil protection agency said Saturday that 1,247 new cases were confirmed in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total to at least 5-thousand-8-hundred 83.
Another 36 people there have died from the disease, putting the death toll in Italy at more than 2-hundred.
Meanwhile, the number of confirmed cases in France reached almost 9-hundred-50.
The French health authorities confirmed 3-hundred-36 new cases on Saturday,… which is also that country’s biggest daily increase.
