Hello all, I'm renting this place out so I cant really put something on the walls I was thinking about getting a painting to put on the bookcase but in general I feel like the room is not giving the vibe I want to have.

Any tips and ideas please

You can put art on the walls. It’s ok. Even in a rental.

  2. Personally I would switch the tall mirror and tall shelf in the first picture, change the coffee table to something circular, and switch the orientation of the dining table and scoot it closer to the window. And, yes, you can mount artwork in rentals. If you are not comfortable and the artwork is light enough (Unframed) there are methods sold that do not require nails and such.

Wall art and hanging the mirror (it looks a little temporary when it’s leaning) – also – chunkier book stands / tables will fill out the space more – currently you look straight through them – also the room is blue black and white so it doesnt tie into the red carper … and perhaps a huge leafy plant in the corner
