Hi everyone! I am looking for ideas on what to do with this triangular shaped wall. My parents recently purchased this house and it’s the first time they have a home with taller ceilings. This wall is SE facing, approx 20ft high, and 20ft wide, the doors are 8ft tall. It looks out over a lake with minimal concern for others looking in. Would shades/drapery help? If so would you mount it right above the trim or higher? What kind of decoration/art could go above it? Or should we just leave it blank? I added some
pictures around the rest of the room as well, SO much blank space.

As a side note- this is such a therapeutic view 😍
I don’t think you need to put anything up there. Get some lighting and it’ll cast shadows at night, the sun will cast shadows during the day, making the space look “full” without actually having anything.
It is a beautiful living space, by the way!
Leave it blank. Unless privacy is an issue I wouldn’t add curtains. That view is all I’d want to see.
The wall with the gold frames isn’t working. Too much dead space. Theres an awkward imbalance created by the height of the dark scrollwork frame on the one side and the grouping of gold frames on the other. Lower the scroll and beef up the left side by matting a couple of the prints and reframing them to break up the monotony.
