hello all! i’m considering doing something to my basement floor since im living down here and need it to be more comfortable for my feet! it gets really cold and i want to put down some of those unlocking foam mats, or maybe the peel and stick ones. the first image is what my room looks like now (sorry it’s so dark!), and the second image is the whole room before i moved in. they repainted the concrete floor since then. i love the rug in my room but i want to cover the entire floor since it gets really cold! i’ve had like 2 flooding incidents in the past, but it was due to a blocked storm drain outside that maintenance fixed, so that shouldn’t be a problem anymore. any suggestions? ofc i’m renting so i can’t do anything too outrageous.
