    Wax seals are the wine world’s equivalent of those blister packs that require a PhD to open.

    Producers that use ridiculous thick wax lose my business immediately.
    Dunn is fine its thin and easy to punch through with my worm so is PYCM

    However there are a lot of producers that put 1/4 inch thick wax that you literally have to saw through.

    I never buy their wine again regardless of quality.

  3. Also makes me look like an incompetent jackass sommelier when I struggle at the table to open it.
