I got sun and moon hooks and I just cannot figure out how to hang them. I tried toggle bolts but I can’t actually tighten the dang thing in, it just spins. I don’t want it to actually be holding a lot of weight when it’s in, at most probably under 5lbs. Please help! I’ve tried putting it in the dry wall and on the wood!

Any chance the screw part is double sided and can unscrew from the moon piece? It looks like it might and would make getting it into the way so much easier. Then just a cheap plastic anchor would probably do just fine.

Can you please show a picture of what you’ve been trying to hang it with and/or the area? I’m having trouble visualizing exactly what you mean with it just spinning. It’s a cute hook!

Have you tried drilling a smaller pilot hole into a stud and then screwing it in? A hook like that won’t hold in drywall alone.

Find a stud. (Mandatory) Drill a pilot hole. Screw it in. Done.

Put hot glue around the shaft you need to turn and then use pliers

It’ll hold 5# no problem. Put some gloves on to protect soft hands and hold it straight while starting it threading into the wood. Keep going till you can’t any more
