I live in lovely nature focused area of Toronto, so my balcony is a little oasis for me. I overlook lake ontario and am right next to a major river and parks. I spend a lot of time outside now that the weather is warm since our winters are long, but this spot is stumping me.
Especially now since my neighbours have started using their balcony as a storage space, i just need a bit more privacy. My balcony is very long, so ive fully decorated the opposite side with all my seating, but its become an eyesore on this side 😞
Anything that goes up needs to be well tied down as we very often get very high winds. I don't want to worry about anything flying off. Anything I have is either weighed down or tied down. Ideally it should be easy enough to bring in for the winter or weather resistant enough to leave out all year.
Thoughts?? Would love any recommendations or to see what others have done!
TIA! ❤️

Do a contact paper on the privacy glass.
Whose free-weights are those? Hopefully not your neighbors!
I’d consider some lighting effects like some twirling laser beams that would distract any guests you have over from the clutter and being massless will not be influenced by climate!!
A few well placed plants would fix it.
Honestly I’d make a fake greenery wall. Like this. You can add flowers or whatever vibe you want.

Stick on some Command hooks and hang an outdoor curtain on a curtain rod.
Look up privacy screen planters like this one from Target. You can put some bricks inside the planter for weight and add potted palms for privacy. Even fake ones would work so you can bring them indoors.
