I moved into a flat and as much as I like how cool the walls look in the evening, it feels a bit too oppressive, if the room is messy the walls make it even worse. What sort of colors would go well in here? Should I go white and just use warm bulbs?
Also unsure about the bed orientation too

If you like the existing colour then I think maybe it just needs some accent colours? That orange on top of the wardrobe could be a good start or maybe some lighter teals? I think it’s just that there’s too many cool tones!
You could also maybe just try a mirror above the bed to give the illusion of more space.
I’d also add a rug. Just to make it feel a bit more homely
