Will the white get scuffed easily?
The white ones look way better 💯
Because the rest of the trim in the house is white, the painted risers. It pulls the look together. The all wood risers are a bit overpowering.
I love the painted white. Looks so elegant.

Stained
Take off that wainscoting on the staircase and just do risers white. Otherwise, all stained wood- I find the white too glaring & bottom-heavy. Gorgeous space, though!
